About Christine - From wool felt to oyster shells
The sea has always called to me and it still does.
Living in Hawaii, with its beauty and natural wonders, is truly a privilege. I am inspired to create and share this beauty with you, from the vibrant flowers to the majestic mountainsides, breathtaking beaches, captivating sunsets, and the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean.
As a fiber artist, I use many types of wool as well as silk, bamboo fiber, sheep locks, shells, found objects and recycled sari thread to create Inspired Coastal's products - felted wool paintings, luxurious table runners and pillows to oyster shell ring dishes and extraordinary garlands and felted sculptures. (The photo above is after I unboxed a new order of wool.)
